We log the date and time of your acceptance, the version of the Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted, and your IP address at the time of acceptance. This record is stored securely in our database and is used solely to demonstrate that valid consent was obtained, as required by applicable data protection law (including GDPR Article 7(1)). This record is retained for the duration of your account plus five (5) years. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge and agree to this logging.

The content, features, and functionality of our website are owned by Italian Experience or its licensors and are protected by United States, European Union, and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
Your use of our website is at your sole risk. Our website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Italian Experience makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of our website or the information, content, materials, products, or services included on our website. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Italian Experience, its affiliates, or their licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind arising from the use of our website.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including the mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence (including, for users located in the European Union or United Kingdom, applicable EU/UK consumer protection and data protection laws).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Italian Experience, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these Terms or your use of the website.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting a notice on our website and, where required by applicable law (including GDPR for users located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom), by providing advance notice. 8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in St. Petersburg, Florida, and waive any objections to jurisdiction or venue.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you are a consumer resident in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer protection laws provide you with greater rights than those set forth above, those mandatory provisions will apply to you and cannot be overridden by this choice of law clause. Nothing in these Terms affects your right to bring a claim before the competent courts or regulatory authorities of your country of residence.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our website, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe that you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Italian Experience is a strategic consultancy and is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, immigration counsel, or regulated legal services of any kind. Any information provided through our Services is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, immigration, financial, or professional advice. Employers, candidates, and other users must engage their own qualified counsel for formal compliance opinions, immigration filings, and any matter requiring regulated professional services. We expressly disclaim all liability arising from reliance on information provided through our Services as a substitute for professional advice.
Business Services Disclosure
Access to wholesale price lists and business partnership programs offered through our platform is subject to verification of corporate requirements. Italian Experience reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select and approve partners based on brand positioning standards, stock availability from artisanal producers, and other criteria. Acceptance into partnership programs is not guaranteed, and we expressly disclaim any liability for declined or revoked partner applications.
Real Estate Advisory Disclosure
Italian Heritage Estates is a strategic consultancy service operated by Italian Experience. All real estate transactions are conducted exclusively through licensed real estate professionals in accordance with Italian Civil Code and applicable fiscal regulations. Italian Experience operates solely as an advisory partner to facilitate transparency, legal compliance, and long-term asset protection for cross-border acquisitions. We are not a licensed real estate broker or agent and do not represent buyers or sellers in a fiduciary capacity. We expressly disclaim any liability for the outcome of real estate transactions facilitated through our advisory services.
11. Recruitment Services — No Guarantee of Employment
Italian Experience provides recruitment advisory and placement services but does not guarantee employment, job placement, interview invitations, or any particular outcome for candidates or employers. We expressly disclaim all liability for:
- Any employment decision made by an employer, including offers, rejections, dismissals, or contract terms.
- The accuracy, completeness, or legality of information provided by candidates, including CVs, credentials, and references.
- The accuracy, completeness, or legality of information provided by employers, including job descriptions, company profiles, and compensation details.
- Any disputes, claims, or losses arising between candidates and employers following introductions made through our Services.
- Any loss of income, opportunity, or career progression resulting from use of or reliance on our Services.
Users acknowledge that Italian Experience acts solely as an intermediary and that all employment relationships are formed directly between candidates and employers, independently of Italian Experience.
12. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing
Italian Experience does not currently use artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning models, or automated decision-making systems to evaluate candidates, screen applications, score profiles, or make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users.
We may introduce AI-assisted tools or automated processing features in the future. Before doing so, we commit to:
- Updating this Privacy Policy and these Terms to reflect any material use of AI or automated decision-making.
- Providing users with meaningful information about the logic involved and the significance and envisaged consequences of such processing, as required by GDPR Article 22 and other applicable laws.
- Implementing appropriate safeguards, including the right to request human review of any automated decision that significantly affects you.
- Obtaining any additional consents required by applicable law prior to implementing AI-driven processing.
Any future use of AI tools by third-party sub-processors (such as Supabase or Cloudflare) for infrastructure or security purposes does not constitute automated decision-making in respect of individual users and is governed by our sub-processor agreements and applicable data protection law.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by Italian Experience. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. We expressly disclaim all liability for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such third-party content, goods, or services.
Our Services rely on third-party infrastructure providers (including Supabase, Cloudflare, and Zoho). We are not liable for any service interruption, data loss, security incident, or other failure attributable to these third-party providers, except to the extent required by applicable law.
14. Force Majeure
Italian Experience shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic or epidemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions or sanctions, internet or telecommunications outages, cyberattacks, failure of third-party infrastructure providers, or any other event beyond our reasonable control. In such circumstances, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.
15. Dispute Resolution and Class Action Waiver
Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at privacy@italianexp.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter within 30 days of receiving written notice of your claim.
Binding Arbitration (US Users)
For users located in the United States, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in a court of law. The arbitration shall take place in St. Petersburg, Florida, or via remote proceedings. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
Class Action Waiver
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND ITALIAN EXPERIENCE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable, then the arbitration agreement shall not apply to that claim.
16. General Provisions
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the website, constitute the entire agreement between you and Italian Experience concerning your use of the website and Services, and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and proposals between you and us.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. A waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Italian Experience.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any rights granted hereunder, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction.
Language
These Terms were originally drafted in English. In the event of any conflict between this English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail.

Infrastructure and Database

Information Automatically Collected
In Short: Some information — such as your IP address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
- Log and Usage Data: IP address, device information, browser type, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take.
- Device Data: IP address, device and application identification numbers, browser type, hardware model, internet service provider, operating system, and system configuration.
- Location Data: We may collect approximate location data derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise GPS-based geolocation without your explicit consent.
- CAPTCHA / Bot Protection Data: When you submit a form on our website, we use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that you are a human user. This process involves collecting your IP address, browser characteristics, and device signals, which are transmitted to Cloudflare for processing.
- Consent and Acceptance Records: When you accept our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, we record and store evidence of your acceptance in our database (Supabase). This record includes the date and time of acceptance, the version of the Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted, and your IP address at the time of acceptance. This information is retained to fulfil our legal obligation under GDPR Article 7(1).

We do not currently use analytics cookies, marketing cookies, advertising pixels, or any other tracking technologies for our own purposes. We do not track your browsing behaviour across third-party websites.

Manage Cookie Preferences6. Where Is Your Information Stored and Transferred?
In Short: Your personal data is primarily stored in the UK/EEA. Some technical sub-processors may process limited data in the USA, with appropriate safeguards in place.Our primary database and application infrastructure is hosted by Supabase in the West Europe region (London, United Kingdom). The personal data you provide to us — including account information, candidate profiles, and application data — is stored within the United Kingdom and/or European Economic Area (EEA), both of which apply data protection standards equivalent to or aligned with the GDPR.
However, some technical sub-processors used to deliver our website and protect it from automated abuse may process limited technical data (such as IP addresses and browser information) in locations outside the UK/EEA, including the United States. Specifically:
- Cloudflare (Turnstile CAPTCHA): When you submit a form on our website, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser signals on US-based infrastructure to verify you are not a bot.
- Google LLC (Google Fonts): Your browser makes a direct request to Google's servers to load fonts used on our website, which may include your IP address.
- CDN providers (jsDelivr, CDNJS, unpkg): Open-source UI libraries are loaded from global content delivery networks that may log IP addresses for technical and security purposes.
For all transfers of personal data outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards including:
- European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs, June 2021 version).
- UK International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA) where UK personal data is transferred.
- Transfer impact assessments where required by applicable law.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or securely store it isolated from further processing until deletion is possible. Deletion of your account triggers a cascade deletion of all associated personal data from our database.
8. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed 100% secure. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, and we will notify you without undue delay where required by applicable law.
9. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services. 10. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
In Short: Depending on your location, you may have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information.In some regions (such as the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right to:
- Request access to and obtain a copy of your personal information
- Request rectification (correction) of inaccurate personal information
- Request erasure ("right to be forgotten") of your personal information
- Restrict the processing of your personal information
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format)
- Object to the processing of your personal information

You can make such a request by contacting us using the details provided in Section 16 below. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA/CPRA), with possible extensions as permitted by law.
If you are located in the EEA or UK and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your Member State data protection authority or the UK ICO. If you are located in Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Withdrawing Your Consent
If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at privacy@italianexp.com or updating your account preferences. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Opting Out of Marketing Communications

Account Information & Cascade Deletion
To review, change, or terminate your account, contact us using the information in Section 16. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and all associated information from our active databases. Our database is structured so that deleting an account permanently removes all associated personal data (cascade deletion). We may retain minimal information required by law (e.g., payment records for tax purposes) for the periods specified in Section 7.

11. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
12. Automated Decision-Making and Artificial Intelligence
In Short: We do not currently use AI or automated systems to make decisions about you. If this changes, we will update this notice and provide required disclosures.Italian Experience does not currently use artificial intelligence (AI) systems, machine learning models, or fully automated decision-making processes to evaluate, score, rank, or otherwise make decisions about individual candidates, employers, or other users that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Under GDPR Article 22 and other applicable data protection laws, you have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. At present, this right is not engaged by our Services, as all meaningful decisions are made with meaningful human involvement.
We may in the future introduce AI-assisted features. Before doing so, we will update this Privacy Policy, identify the appropriate legal basis, provide meaningful information about the logic and potential impact, implement the right to request human review, and obtain any additional consents required by applicable law.
